Château Coudray-Montpensier Chinon from Chinon, France, is a vibrant Red (still) dry wine crafted entirely from Cabernet Franc grapes. The vinification process involves a 10-day cold maceration followed by fermentation in stainless steel, ensuring its bright fruit character is preserved as it remains unoaked. This wine is brimming with vibrant aromas of blackcurrant and redcurrant fruit, which translate beautifully onto the palate, supported by a bright acidity that leads to a lingering finish. It pairs wonderfully with a variety of dishes, from poultry and lamb to cured meats and mushroom-based meals.

After harvest, the grapes are cold macerated for 10 days before fermentation in stainless steel. Unoaked to preserve its bright fruit character.
This unoaked Cabernet Franc offers a vibrant and fresh profile, bursting with aromas and flavours of blackcurrant and redcurrant fruit. Its bright acidity provides a refreshing and lingering finish.
Serve at 14-16°C. Decant for 30 minutes to allow its vibrant fruit character to fully open.
