Cantina Valpantena Torre del Falasco from Valpantena, Italy, is a vibrant, dry Red wine crafted exclusively from Corvina grapes, a varietal celebrated for its expressive fruit. The grapes undergo a brief drying period, a technique that concentrates flavours, before fermentation in stainless steel and concrete tanks, with no oak used to preserve its fresh, youthful characteristics. This wine opens with bright perfumes of juicy red cherries, leading to a soft, approachable palate with well-balanced bitter cherry notes on the finish. Its refreshing profile makes it a versatile companion for a variety of dishes, from classic pasta to poultry or mild cheeses.

Vinification
After a brief drying period, the grapes were destemmed, crushed and cooled before they were pressed. After a gentle maceration, fermentation took place in stainless-steel tanks at temperatures between 22-28°C. The wine was then decanted, filtered and stored in stainless steel tanks. Transferred in concrete tanks; there was one final filtration before bottling. There was no oak used in order to highlight its fresh, youthful characteristics.

This youthful red wine offers a bright and fresh aromatic experience, opening with perfumes of juicy red cherries. On the palate, it presents a soft, approachable structure with well-balanced bitter cherry notes on the finish, enhanced by a partial drying process.
Serving recommendation
Serve at 14-16°C. Best enjoyed young, a brief aeration can enhance its fresh fruit character.
