Ca' Morlin Prosecco Frizzante from Montello and Colli Asolani, Italy, is a delightful White (sparkling) wine crafted from Glera grapes. This dry, lightly sparkling wine is produced using the Charmat method, involving cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks and a 30-day second fermentation under pressure to achieve its characteristic fizz. It offers a clean, fresh, and soft profile with an aromatic lift, revealing scented and grapey notes, culminating in a delicious lightness and good length. This versatile Prosecco pairs wonderfully with appetizers and light fish dishes. Certified vegan and vegetarian, it's a refreshing choice for any occasion.
75.0CL , 10.5% ABV
This wine was made using the Charmat method. The grapes were picked late to allow the development of concentrated flavours. Once at the winery, the grapes were cool fermented in temperature controlled stainless-steel tanks until 10% ABV was reached. The wine was then moved on to pressurised temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and an addition of yeast and sugar started a second fermentation under pressure for 30 days. The CO2 generated by this second fermentation dissolved in the wine making it sparkling. The wine undergoes sterile bottling through micro-filtration under pressure to preserve the right level of dissolved CO2. The wine is "frizzante" or "lightly sparkling" as the pressure in the bottle is between one and 2,5 bars.
This clean, fresh, and lightly sparkling Prosecco offers a delightful aromatic lift, with soft, scented, and grapey notes. It delivers a delicious lightness and good length on the palate, making it approachable and refreshing.
Serve chilled at 6-8°C. No decanting required, enjoy immediately.
