Boulevard Napoléon `L'Angely` Carignan l'Hérault VdP from Minervois, France, is a vibrant Red wine crafted by Trevor Gulliver. This dry Carignan, sourced from 90-year-old vines planted on limestone clay soils, offers a ripe and spicy nose with distinctive black olive tapenade notes. Fermented in stainless steel and partially aged in French oak barriques, it delivers juicy berries and a supple texture on the palate, leading to a long and satisfying finish. A versatile choice, it pairs beautifully with red meats and mature cheeses. This wine is also suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

The grapes were hand harvested into small crates and were sorted upon arrival at the winery and then partially destemmed. Fermentation took place in small stainless-steel tanks with gentle extraction techniques. Following fermentation, the majority of the wine (60%) was aged in stainless steel tanks while the remaining 40% was aged in a combination of first and second use 225-litre French oak barriques.
