Bodega Garzón Estate `Cabernet Franc de Corte` from Maldonado, Uruguay, is a vibrant Red still dry wine. This plush and approachable blend features 80% Cabernet Franc, complemented by Tannat, Marselan, and Merlot. Crafted with fermentation and ageing in stainless steel tanks, it beautifully preserves its aromatic freshness. Expect inviting aromas of sweet spice, dried herbs, and a subtle hint of green pepper. The palate is fresh and silky, revealing soft black berry flavours harmoniously balanced by gentle tannins, leading to a delightful finish. Vinification
The hand-harvested grapes were processed separately. After five days of maceration, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at 26-28ºC for one week with twice daily pump overs. The wine then remained in stainless steel tanks for a further three to six months on lees before blending and bottling.
