Bodega Colomé `Lote Especial`, `Finca Colomé` Salta Tannat from Salta, Argentina is a still, dry Red wine crafted from 100% Tannat grapes. This exceptional wine is matured for 12 months in 25% new French oak barriques, contributing to its complex character. It reveals a rich and juicy profile, brimming with dark fruit characters, elegant floral notes, and a touch of spice. The palate is balanced by refreshing acidity and rounded tannins, making it an ideal partner for robust dishes. Vinification
The grapes were hand harvested and carefully sorted in the vineyard and then again at the winery on the optical sorting table. The grapes were cold macerated for four days and then fermented with indigenous yeasts, with twice daily pump overs. The wine was matured for 12 months in 225 litre French oak barriques, 25% of which were new.

Serving recommendation
Serve at 16-18°C; decanting for 1 hour before serving is recommended to soften tannins.
