Bodega Colomé Lote Especial, Finca Colomé Bonarda from Upper Calchaquí Valley, Argentina, is a concentrated and complex Red still dry wine crafted from hand-harvested Bonarda grapes. Following cold maceration and fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, it ages for eight months in French oak. This wine offers intense aromas of black and red fruits with a hint of mint, leading to a palate rich in plums, red berry fruit, and spice, supported by soft, round tannins and a fresh finish. It pairs beautifully with roasted meats, pasta dishes, or mature cheeses.
75.0CL , 14.5% ABV
The grapes were hand harvested and carefully sorted in the vineyard and then again at the winery. Following a four-day cold maceration, fermentation began in small stainless-steel tanks using indigenous yeasts, with twice daily pump-overs. Post-fermentation, the wine was aged in French oak barrels for eight months before bottling.
This concentrated Red Bonarda offers intense aromas of black and red fruits with a hint of mint. On the palate, expect rich plum and red berry flavours, complemented by a touch of spice and soft, round tannins, leading to a fresh finish.
Serve at 16-18°C; decanting recommended to enhance its complex fruit and spice notes.
