Alpha Zeta 'C' Corvina from Italy's Valpantena Valley is a vibrant still red wine, crafted exclusively from Corvina grapes grown in high-altitude, south/south-east facing vineyards. Cool breezes from the Dolomites ensure slow ripening, preserving aromatic compounds and acidity. Fermented and aged in stainless steel and concrete tanks, it offers fresh, vibrant aromas of ripe cherries and red berries. The palate is balanced and juicy with a supple structure, revealing delightful plum and cinnamon flavours and a lively finish. This dry red is a versatile companion, pairing beautifully with a range of dishes from pasta to mature cheeses.
75.0CL , 12.5% ABV
The grapes were hand harvested, destemmed, crushed and pumped into 1200-hectolitre stainless steel tanks prior to fermentation, which occurred at 22-28°C with regular pump overs. The wine was aged in the same stainless steel tanks and then transferred into concrete tanks for final filtration before bottling.
