Quinta do Infantado White Port
A fresh White fortified wine with vibrant citrus, peach, and a hint of almond nuttiness
Quinta do Infantado White Port from Douro, Portugal, is a delightful White fortified wine crafted from Gouveio, Rabigato, Viosinho and Moscatel Galego grapes. The hand-picked grapes are partially destemmed and fermented in lagar with skin contact, before fermentation is halted by 77% alcohol spirit. This semi-sweet Port is then aged in old tonneau and barrels for three years, blended with younger tank-aged wine, resulting in a fresh expression. It offers vibrant citrus fruit and peach aromas, complemented by a touch of almond nuttiness. Best enjoyed as an aperitif, this wine presents a beautifully balanced sweetness.
