A vibrant White Pinot Grigio with lively pear, stone fruit, and refreshing elegance

Ponte del Diavolo Pinot Grigio from Grave del Friuli, Italy, is a delightful still dry white (bianco) wine crafted from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks on fine lees with no oak, it preserves its vibrant fruit character. This elegant wine presents lively aromas of freshly cut pear and white stone fruit, leading to a palate of ripe pear, a touch of sherbet, and a subtle almond note, all balanced by a characteristic freshness. Its good structure and body make it a versatile choice, perfect with light appetizers or lean fish.
75.0CL , 13.0% ABV
The grapes were machine harvested. Upon arrival at the winery, they were gently pressed in a pneumatic press to extract a very clear juice. Temperature-controlled fermentation, using selected yeasts, took place in stainless-steel tanks at cool temperatures to preserve the perfume and bright fruit flavours of the Pinot Grigio. No oak was used during the winemaking process and the wine remained in tank on the fine lees until bottling. It was then sealed under screwcap to preserve freshness and eliminate the risk of cork taint.
This elegant Pinot Grigio offers a lively bouquet of freshly cut pear and white stone fruit. On the palate, ripe pear and a subtle almond note are balanced by a characteristic freshness, delivering a wine with good structure and body.
Serve chilled at 8-10°C. No decanting is required; enjoy fresh.
