Mandrarossa Chardonnay from Sicily, Italy is a vibrant still dry white wine crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes. Fermented and aged entirely in stainless-steel tanks, this wine showcases a pure expression of the varietal. It opens with enticing aromas of orange peel, delicate hibiscus, and ripe pear, leading to a powerful palate that boasts excellent minerality and a long, persistent finish. This versatile Chardonnay is an ideal accompaniment to lean fish, poultry, or mild, soft cheeses, making it perfect for various dining occasions.

After the grapes were crushed and destemmed, the must was immediately cooled to 5-8°C, and maintained at these temperatures for four to six hours. The resulting must was then softly pressed and the juice obtained was clarified at a low temperature for 36 hours. The clear must was fermented in stainless-steel tanks for 15-20 days at 16-18°C. The wine was aged for four months in stainless-steel tanks at 10°C.
This vibrant Chardonnay offers enticing aromas of zesty orange peel, delicate hibiscus, and ripe pear. On the palate, it is powerful with excellent minerality and a long, persistent finish, showcasing a pure expression of the varietal.
Serve chilled at 12-14°C to best enjoy its vibrant fruit and minerality.
