El Coto Rioja Verdejo from Rioja DOCa, Spain, is a vibrant still White wine. Crafted from 100% Verdejo grapes, this dry wine undergoes cold-maceration and fermentation in stainless-steel tanks, followed by one month on its lees to enhance texture. It presents intense aromas of fresh citrus and tropical fruit, with intriguing notes of fennel and aniseed. The palate is smooth with a lively acidity, culminating in a refreshing and elegant finish. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with light seafood or poultry dishes.

Shortly after harvest, the grapes were destemmed, cold-macerated and pressed softly in the cellar, avoiding contact with oxygen during all pre-fermentation operations. Fermentation took place at 16°C in stainless-steel tanks in order to retain freshness. Once alcoholic fermentation had finished, the wine remained on its lees for one month to enhance the wine's texture.
This crisp and vibrant Verdejo offers intense aromas of fresh citrus and tropical fruits, complemented by subtle notes of fennel and aniseed. On the palate, it is smooth with a lively acidity, leading to a refreshing and elegant finish.
Serve chilled at 10-12°C to best enjoy its crisp, aromatic profile.
