Dalia `Trač` Gewürztraminer from Negotin Valley, Serbia, is a vibrant White still dry wine crafted from Gewürztraminer grapes. It undergoes 24 hours of skin maceration before fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless-steel tanks, resulting in a fresh and approachable style. This wine brims with pronounced aromas of lychee, white flowers, and candied stone fruits, leading to a medium-bodied palate with balanced acidity and a fruity finish. It pairs wonderfully with spicy food, poultry, or mild cheeses.
75.0CL , 13.5% ABV
The grapes were handpicked, allowing for careful selection in the vineyard. Upon arrival at the winery, the fruit was crushed, and the juice spent 24 hours in contact with its skins before being pressed. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts took place in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine was racked, and small amounts of sulphur were added. The wine was then aged on fine lees in stainless-steel tanks for eight months, prior to bottling without fining or filtration. Kristina takes a minimal-intervention approach to winemaking, utilising indigenous yeasts, spontaneous fermentation, natural tartaric stabilisation and limited sulphur additions.
This vibrant Gewürztraminer offers an approachable style, brimming with pronounced aromas of lychee, delicate white flowers, and sweet candied stone fruits. The palate is medium-bodied with balanced acidity and a fruity finish.
Serve chilled at 12-14°C to best enjoy its aromatic profile; no decanting required.
