Terre del Buontalenti Vermentino/Ansonica from Tuscany, Italy, is a vibrant dry white wine crafted from Vermentino and Ansonica grapes. Fermented in concrete tanks, it offers perfumes of white flowers, ripe peaches, and a hint of flint on the nose. The palate is lively and fruit-driven, showcasing distinct mineral characters with notes of golden apple and yellow peach, leading to an almost tropical finish. This still white wine is well-balanced with refreshing acidity, making it an excellent accompaniment to lean fish, shellfish, or poultry dishes.
75.0CL , 12.5% ABV
The whole clusters were gently pressed and the juice naturally settled at 8 °C. After a few days of contact with gross lees, the must was racked off and fermented in temperature controlled concrete tanks at 18 °C for 20 days. No malolactic fermentation was allowed to take place. The wine remained on the fine lees in temperature controlled concrete tanks until bottling.
This vibrant dry white wine offers an aromatic bouquet of white flowers, ripe peaches, and a subtle hint of flint. On the palate, it is lively and fruit-driven, showcasing distinct mineral characteristics with notes of golden apple and yellow peach, leading to an almost tropical finish.
Serve chilled at 12-14°C to best enjoy its vibrant fruit and mineral notes.
