A vibrant Red wine with spiced red fruit, supple tannins, and a versatile character

Monrouby Syrah/Carignan Pays d'Oc IGP, France, is a vibrant Red still dry wine crafted from Syrah and Carignan grapes. The winemaking involves 15-20 days of skin maceration and fermentation at controlled temperatures, with no oak used during maturation to preserve the pure fruit character. This results in a wine with a spiced red fruit character on the nose, leading to a palate of ripe fruit flavours balanced by lively acidity and supple, well-integrated tannins. It offers remarkable character for its price point and pairs wonderfully with grilled meats or rich pasta dishes. This wine is also suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
75.0CL , 13.0% ABV
The grapes were picked at the perfect level of maturity and, once at the winery, were macerated on the skins for 15-20 days to extract good levels of colour and flavours. Fermentation took place at controlled temperatures of between 20-23°C, which ensured that there was no over-extraction. No oak was used during maturation in order to retain the pure fruit characters of both varietals.
This vibrant red wine offers a spiced red fruit character on the nose, with distinct aromas of blackberry, red plum, and a hint of black pepper. On the palate, ripe fruit flavours are balanced by a lively acidity and supple, well-integrated tannins, leading to a satisfying finish.
Serve at 14-16°C. Decant for 30 minutes to enhance its vibrant fruit.
