Mandrarossa `Bonera` from Sicily, Italy, is a captivating Red (still) wine crafted from a blend of Nero d'Avola and Cabernet Franc grapes. This dry and full-bodied wine undergoes a meticulous vinification process, including 6 months of ageing in oak barriques, which contributes to its complex character. It offers inviting aromas of ripe red fruit, dried prunes and almonds. The palate is well-structured with silky tannins and a persistent finish, making it a superb choice for pairing with roasted meats, rich pasta dishes, or mature cheeses. Vinification

Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were cold soaked and then fermented for 8-10 days at controlled temperatures between 18°C and 22°C. Post fermentation, the wine was transferred to oak barriques to age for 6 months, followed by a further 3 month ageing period in bottle before release.

This Mandrarossa `Bonera` offers a rich aromatic profile of ripe red fruits, dried prunes, and a hint of almond. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, delivering silky tannins and a long, satisfying finish.
