Loimer Kamptal Grüner Veltliner from Austria is a crisp, dry white still wine crafted from 100% Grüner Veltliner grapes. Hand-harvested and spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, it ages on lees to develop complexity. This certified organic and biodynamic wine offers vibrant aromas of orange, pineapple, white pepper, and eucalyptus. The palate is lively with grapefruit, fresh pineapple, baking spices, and lime, supported by a vibrant acidity and elegant minerality. It pairs beautifully with light poultry dishes or fresh salads.
75.0CL , 12.5% ABV
Selective hand-harvesting was conducted in early to mid-September, with grapes carefully transported in 20-kilogram crates to preserve fruit integrity. The grapes underwent whole-cluster pressing with no maceration period. Fermentation proceeded spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, allowing natural development of the wine's character. The wine aged in stainless steel on full lees until December 2024 (2-3 months), followed by continued ageing on fine lees until bottling.
This vibrant dry white wine offers an aromatic bouquet of orange zest, dried pineapple, and a hint of white pepper. The palate is equally lively, showcasing pronounced grapefruit, fresh pineapple, and a touch of baking spices, all balanced by a crisp acidity and elegant minerality.
Serve chilled at 10-12°C. No decanting required for this crisp white.
