Jean-Marc Burgaud Morgon `Les Grands Cras` from Morgon, Beaujolais, France, is an elegant still red wine crafted from Gamay grapes. This dry wine undergoes a vinification process where the fruit is mostly whole bunch fermented and aged in concrete, ensuring a pure expression of its terroir. On the nose, it reveals enticing aromas of dark berry fruits and savoury notes. The palate is beautifully poised with concentrated flavours of bramble and dark cherry, complemented by lifted acidity and fine-grained tannins, offering both power and elegance. This versatile wine pairs wonderfully with poultry, cured meats, mushrooms, or mild and soft cheeses.
75.0CL , 13.0% ABV
All three parcels from 'Grands Cras' were fermented separately. The fruit was mostly kept as whole bunches, apart from a small percentage which was destemmed. Fermentation lasted 12-15 days at controlled temperatures of 23 to 28°C, with daily pumping over. Following fermentation, this wine was aged in concrete until blending and bottling in June.

Serve at 14-16°C. Decanting is not essential but can enhance its aromatic complexity.
