El Coto `Coto de Imaz` Rioja Reserva Rioja DOCa, Spain, is a superb Red still dry wine crafted entirely from Tempranillo grapes. This elegant Reserva undergoes a meticulous vinification process, including at least 18 months of ageing in American oak barrels, followed by further bottle refinement. It offers powerful and complex aromas of ripe dark fruits and fine cocoa. The palate is fleshy and velvety, with ripe tannins and good acidity, beautifully showcasing traditional oak characteristics alongside a modern freshness. This versatile wine pairs wonderfully with roasted meats, lamb, or mature cheeses. It is also vegan and vegetarian friendly.

The alcoholic fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks, with a maceration period of up to 18 days with frequent pump overs in order to achieve balance. This was followed by at least 18 months of ageing in American oak barrels. The wine was then further refined in the bottle for a minimum of 18 months.
This Rioja Reserva offers a powerful and complex aromatic profile of ripe dark fruits and fine cocoa. The palate is fleshy and velvety, showcasing ripe tannins and a refreshing acidity, beautifully integrating traditional oak characteristics with a modern, fresh appeal.
Serve at 16-18°C. Decant for 30 minutes.
