El Coto `875m Finca Carbonera` Rioja DOCa, Spain, is a still, dry Red wine crafted from 100% Tempranillo grapes. Aged for nine months in new French and American oak, it offers delicate aromas of cherries and red fruit, complemented by notes of coffee and cacao. The palate is fresh and intense, showcasing vibrant red fruit flavours with a good backbone of acidity and a long finish. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with roasted meats, rich stews, and mature cheeses.

The Tempranillo grapes were hand picked and transported to the winery to undergo fermentation, with gentle daily cap management. After fermentation, the wine was transferred to oak barrels to go through malolactic fermentation. The wine was aged in a mix of new American and French oak barrels for a further nine months.
This vibrant Red wine offers delicate aromas of cherries and red fruit, complemented by intriguing notes of coffee and cacao. On the palate, it is fresh and intense, showcasing rich red fruit flavours with a good backbone of acidity, leading to a long and satisfying finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Decanting for 30 minutes before serving will enhance its aromas.
