Domaine de l'Hortus Bergerie de L'Hortus Blanc Vin de France from Languedoc, France, is a delightful still white wine. This dry blend of Roussanne, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Sauvignon Gris, Chardonnay, Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, and Petit Manseng offers vibrant aromas of white peach and orange blossom. Grapes are harvested early for freshness, then gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel, aged four months in vats. The palate reveals energetic acidity, a ripe, juicy mouthfeel, and a long, saline finish. It pairs beautifully with poultry, lean fish, or vegetarian dishes.
75.0CL , 13.0% ABV
The grapes were harvested in the early hours to preserve freshness and then pressed before undergoing cold-settling and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was racked at the end of fermentation and then spent a further four months in tank before bottling. The wine is classified as Vin de France due to the Pic-Saint-Loup appellation only including red and rosé wines.
This delightful white wine displays a bright golden-yellow hue, offering vibrant aromas of white peach and orange blossom. The palate is driven by an energetic acidity, complemented by a ripe and juicy mouthfeel, culminating in a long and saline finish.
Serve chilled at 10-12°C. Enjoy young for optimal freshness.
