Curatolo Arini `Gagliardetta` Zibibbo Secco from Sicily, Italy, is a vibrant white (still) wine crafted from Zibibbo (Muscat of Alexandria) grapes. This dry and aromatic expression, from the oldest family-owned Marsala producer, undergoes cold maceration and fermentation in stainless steel, followed by six months on its lees, ensuring remarkable freshness and complexity. It offers bright aromas of orange blossom, zesty citrus fruit, and delicate white rose, leading to a fresh, balanced palate with a distinctive hint of bergamot. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with a range of dishes, from lean fish and shellfish to light appetizers, making it a delightful choice for any occasion.
75.0CL , 13.5% ABV
Manual harvesting started on August 27th. After de stemming and cold maceration at 6° and 8° C for 6 hours, the grapes are soft-pressed prior to the fermentation at a controlled temperature (16° C) in stainless steel tanks for 20 days. The wine is aged “sur lies” for 6 months prior to bottling.
This dry and aromatic white wine offers a delightful sensory experience, opening with bright aromas of orange blossom, zesty citrus, and delicate white rose. The palate is fresh and beautifully balanced, culminating in a distinctive note of bergamot.
Serve chilled at 10-12°C. No decanting required, enjoy fresh.
