Château Patache d'Aux Cru Bourgeois Médoc Cru Bourgeois, France, presents a still, dry red wine crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Fermented in a combination of used oak, cement, and stainless steel, then aged for 12-14 months in oak barrels and stainless steel, this wine offers a plush, bright fruit character. Expect notes of blackcurrant, spiced black plum, and liquorice on the nose and palate, supported by structured yet smooth tannins and a fresh, long-lasting finish. Its powerful richness makes it an excellent accompaniment to roasted lamb, mature cheeses, or rich game dishes.
75.0CL , 13.5% ABV
The grapes were machine harvested at optimal maturity. They were then fermented in temperature-controlled concrete vats at 25 °C for three to four weeks with regular but gentle punching downs. The finished blend was aged for 12 months in one-third new French oak barrels, one-third one-year old oak barrels and one-third concrete tanks.
This deep purple red wine offers a plush, bright fruit character, with prominent notes of blackcurrant, spiced black plum, and hints of liquorice. The palate is structured yet supported by smooth tannins, leading to a fresh and long-lasting finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Decant for an hour to allow its rich character to develop.
