Château Moncontour, Vouvray Brut, Vouvray AOC, France, is a vibrant White sparkling wine crafted from 100% Chenin Blanc. This thoroughly modern expression, made using the traditional method with 12 months of lees aging, offers a fresh, racy profile defined by ripe orchard fruit, delicate white flowers, and a subtle brioche note. The palate is harmonious with refreshing acidity, showcasing the finesse of Vouvray. This dry sparkling wine is an excellent aperitif or a versatile companion to shellfish and light poultry dishes, reflecting the Château's dedication to quality.

The Vouvray Brut NV is made using the Traditional Method. The grapes are pressed slowly and gently, and the must is carefully selected during the pressing phase, choosing only the free run and first press juice. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled tanks at 17-18°C over a period of three weeks. The wine is carefully blended and bottled, then matured for an average of 12 months on the lees after the second fermentation in bottle.
This vibrant sparkling wine, crafted using the traditional method, offers a fresh and racy profile. It is defined by ripe orchard fruit, notably apple, complemented by delicate white floral notes and a hint of brioche from its lees aging, culminating in a harmonious palate with refreshing acidity.
