Château Los Boldos Gran Reserva Cachapoal Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile is a still, dry red wine crafted exclusively from estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This wine undergoes a meticulous vinification process, with 60% aged for 10 months in second and third-use French oak barrels, contributing to its refined structure. It presents an enticing bouquet of fresh cassis, blackcurrant, and cherries, with nuanced hints of coffee and tobacco. The palate is rounded with soft tannins and vibrant acidity, culminating in a long finish. This versatile red pairs beautifully with a range of red meats and mature cheeses.
75.0CL , 14.0% ABV
The grapes were machine-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 24-26°C. Following 7-10 days of post-fermentation maceration, 60% of the wine aged for 10 months in second and third-use barrels where malolactic fermentation occurred, while the remaining 40% was aged in stainless steel tanks.
This Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon offers a vibrant aromatic profile of fresh cassis, blackcurrant, and cherries, complemented by subtle hints of coffee and tobacco. On the palate, it is rounded with soft tannins and a lively acidity, leading to a long, satisfying finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Decant for an hour before serving to enhance its complex aromas.
