Château Fontarèche 'Picapolle' Corbières AOC, France is a still, dry red wine crafted from the intriguing Picpoul Noir and Carignan grape varieties. The hand-picked grapes undergo semi-carbonic maceration for nine days to soften tannins, then fermented separately in stainless steel and aged for eight months to preserve their expressive fruit character. It presents a fragrant bouquet of bright black fruits, subtly laced with mint and herbaceous nuances. The palate is supple, revealing expressive blackberry fruit and a long, fresh finish. This versatile red pairs wonderfully with roasted meats or mature cheeses.
