Cantine Belisario Rosso Conero Rosso Conero DOC from Conero Riviera, Italy, is a still, dry Red wine crafted solely from Montepulciano grapes. This wine was aged in stainless steel tanks for seven to eight months, followed by two months in second-use French oak barriques, developing a full and ripe character. It opens with earthy aromas of tilled soil, complemented by notes of red cherry, black fruit, and espresso. These characteristics continue onto the palate, which boasts a good tannic structure. This versatile wine pairs wonderfully with rich pasta dishes, roasted lamb, or mature hard cheeses.
75.0CL , 13.0% ABV
After harvest, the grapes were destemmed and gently crushed. Maceration on the skins was carried out with fermentation taking place using selected yeasts at controlled temperatures. Malolactic fermentation took place naturally before the wine was aged in stainless steel tanks for seven to eight months with a further two months in second use French oak barriques. The wine then spent four months in bottle prior to release.
This Montepulciano offers a full and ripe experience, opening with earthy aromas of tilled soil, complemented by notes of red cherry, black fruit, and espresso. The palate mirrors these characteristics, presenting a good tannic structure that provides depth and a satisfying finish.
Serve at 12-14°C; decant for 30 minutes to enhance its rich fruit and earthy notes.
