Cantina Atzei `Saragat` Monica from Sardinia, Italy is a still, dry Red wine crafted from the indigenous Monica grape variety. After a 10-day maceration and controlled fermentation, the wine is aged for six months in French oak barrels and concrete tanks, developing intense notes of marasca cherry and plum with a hint of spice on the palate. It shows great balance, underpinned by remarkable depth and silky tannins. This versatile wine pairs wonderfully with pasta dishes, cured meats, or roasted pork, offering a delightful and characterful experience.

After a 10-day maceration and soft pressing, the grapes were fermented using selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 24-26°C. The wine was then aged for six months in French oak barrels and concrete tanks.
This Sardinian Red wine, made from the indigenous Monica grape, offers intense notes of marasca cherry and plum, beautifully complemented by a hint of spice. It presents a remarkable depth and silky tannins, creating a balanced and appealing palate.
Serve at 16-18°C. Decant for 30 minutes before serving to allow its complex aromas to unfold.
