Baron de Badassière Picpoul de Pinet Picpoul de Pinet AOC, France. This crisp White (Blanc) still wine is dry and crafted entirely from the Picpoul grape. Fermented in cement and stainless steel, then bottled early without oak, it retains exceptional freshness and delicate aromatics. Expect vibrant aromas of grapefruit, lemon, and lime, with subtle floral notes. The palate offers a delightful texture, balanced by zesty acidity and a distinctive saline minerality. A perfect accompaniment to shellfish, lean fish, or light appetizers. This wine is also suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

The grapes arrived at the winery in the early morning and were gently pressed in the pneumatic press. The must was then cold settled for 48 hours, racked and then fermented in cement and stainless steel for about two weeks at controlled temperatures of between 13-14°C. Unoaked, the wine was bottled early to retain freshness and delicate aromatics.
This Picpoul de Pinet offers a vibrant aromatic profile of grapefruit, lemon, and lime, complemented by delicate floral undertones. On the palate, it delivers a refreshing balance of zesty acidity and saline minerality, culminating in a crisp and pure finish.
Serve chilled at 8-10°C. No decanting needed for this fresh, aromatic white.
